Fast and Easy DJI Inspire 1 4K clips Editing Workflow in Premiere Pro CC/CS6/CS5/CS4

I’m starting to get some DJI Inspire 1 great footage and want to be able to do some simple editing in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, but everything I own has a 4K output. What can i do if i wannat to downscale DJI inspire 1 4K to 1080p for easier playback and editing in Premiere CS6/CS5/CS4?

DJI Phantom 3 Professional and Inspire 1 have the same camera specs and features — both capture video at resolutions up to 4K (4,096×2,160 pixels) at 30fps and 1,080p at 60fps and 12-megapixel stills.

Granted, Premiere Pro CS6, CC 7 can handle (usually) 4K files without much problem, but it is extremely hardware intensive. Thankfully you probably don’t have to buy a new computer… but you do need to convert 4K video to Premiere Pro using MPEG-2 (1080p) as primary delivery format.
